Silver brooch

This divine silver brooch is decorated with delicate floral motifs and blooming buds, topped with a cabochon-cut carnelian. The rose petals are finely chiseled and movable, which allows them to be opened and closed. This brooch was made in Italy, probably in Venice, at the beginning of the century. Made of silver, it is a magnificent example of early 20th century craftsmanship.
